The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2008 by Penhaligon's and crafted by Olivia Giacobetti, Elixir is an Oriental Spicy fragrance that balances rich warmth with aromatic complexity. The composition opens with the freshness of eucalyptus and cardamom before giving way to a heart of Turkey Red Rose and Egyptian Jasmine. It settles into a smoky and balsamic base of incense, cedar, and red sandalwood, creating an enveloping warmth that feels both modern and lasting.
Apply Elixir to pulse points for a deeper experience — the smoky base notes take about an hour to fully bloom. It’s best worn during cooler weather when its warmth can be fully appreciated.
