The story behind the bottle.
Hermessence Paprika Brasil, launched by Hermès in 2006 and crafted by Jean-Claude Ellena, is a warm and spicy woody fragrance that captures the essence of vibrant spices intertwined with earthy woods. The opening notes of pimento and paprika create an immediate warmth, while cloves add a subtle depth. As it evolves, iris and green leaves blend seamlessly into a heart that's both floral and powdery, culminating in a base of precious woods and Brazilian redwood. This composition is neither overtly masculine nor feminine, aligning with the unisex nature of Hermessence.
Apply this fragrance with two sprays to ensure that the spicy opening is balanced by the woody base notes. It's best enjoyed close to the skin, where it develops its full complexity over time.
