Launched in 2004 by Jean-Claude Ellena, Hermessence Poivre Samarcande is part of the exclusive Hermessence collection that reinvents olfactory experiences with a poetic touch. This woody spicy fragrance evokes the bustling markets and caravans loaded with spices along ancient trade routes. The burning spice notes are tempered by sweet wood, reminiscent of peppery oak, creating an intense and vibrant homage to Samarkand, where East meets West.
This fragrance blooms gradually, so apply it lightly at first. The spicy notes are immediate but fade into the woody base over time, which means you’ll get more from its depth if you let it develop naturally on your skin rather than layering heavily.
