Launched in 2009 by Hugo Boss, Hugo by Karim Rashid is an aromatic green fragrance crafted by perfumer Bob Aliano. The composition opens with a bright and fresh blend of lavender, grapefruit, and granny smith apple, which gives way to a heart of carnation, sage, and geranium. It settles into a woody base of pine, vetiver, oakmoss, and patchouli, creating an earthy yet crisp atmosphere.
This fragrance blooms best when applied to pulse points. The citrus-aromatic top notes are bright but dissipate quickly within an hour, so a second application can help maintain its crisp freshness throughout the day.
