La Collection Rive Gauche Pour Homme, launched by Yves Saint Laurent in 2011 and crafted by perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, is a fragrance that captures the essence of modern sophistication. The aromatic green composition opens with fresh spicy notes before giving way to a heart of lavender and herbal undertones. The base layers earthy moss and patchouli, creating a grounding warmth that lingers on the skin.
One or two sprays suffice due to its strong projection. The herbal top notes are particularly vibrant initially but give way to a deeper earthy warmth after about half an hour, making it perfect for daytime wear.
