The story behind the bottle.
Aurélien Guichard crafted Pleats Please in Bloom by Issey Miyake for the brand's 2015 collection. This fragrance is a vibrant Floral Fruity composition that marries the freshness of raspberry and litchi with the depth of rose and peony. The result is a scent that captures the essence of blooming flowers against a backdrop of sweet, tropical fruits. White musk, cedar, and patchouli provide a warm, earthy base that grounds the lively top notes.
This fragrance's fruity top notes are bright but fleeting, so aim for two sprays to capture both the initial burst and the lingering floral warmth. It pairs well with warm weather or layered environments like an indoor garden.
