The story behind the bottle.
In 2013, perfumer Aurélien Guichard introduced Pleats Please L'Eau by Issey Miyake as a fresh, weightless composition that embodies the brand's innovative approach to fabric and design. The fragrance opens with wild rose, offering a playful freshness that hints at youth and energy. This is complemented by the heart notes of neroli, Bulgarian rose, and pink pepper, which create an intriguing balance between floral sweetness and subtle spice. The base notes of white musk, cedar, and patchouli ground the composition, providing a gentle warmth and depth that lingers on the skin.
Apply one or two sprays — the wild rose top note is fleeting but impactful. Focus on pulse points where your body heat can help warm up the musky base notes, ensuring a steady presence throughout the day.
