Launched in 2013, Classique Couple by Jean Paul Gaultier is an Oriental Floral fragrance that embodies the designer's signature blend of elegance and irreverence. The composition opens with a bright citrus-aromatic accord — bergamot and mandarin orange — before giving way to a heart of white florals like ylang-ylang and tuberose, which are soft yet unmistakable. The base notes of vanilla, amber, and sandalwood add warmth and depth, creating a scent that feels both familiar and luxurious.
Apply this fragrance in light, even sprays — the citrus top notes are bright but fade quickly, and the base notes take about an hour to fully bloom. It works best during cooler weather when its warmth is most appreciated.
