The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Kokorico by Jean Paul Gaultier is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that was launched in 2011. Created by perfumers Olivier Cresp and Annick Menardo, this scent embodies the French spirit with its name derived from the onomatopoeia for a rooster’s cry. The composition opens with refreshing fig leaves, providing an energetic start before diving into raw cocoa notes that stimulate and invigorate. Woody accords of patchouli, vetiver, and Virginia cedar anchor the fragrance, expressing masculinity and power.

How to wear it

Apply Kokorico to pulse points where it can warm up on your skin. The cocoa notes are most pronounced initially but gradually give way to the woody base. A single application should last through the day without overpowering.
