Launched in 2013, Le Male Couple by Jean Paul Gaultier is a fragrance that blends aromatic freshness with warm spiciness and woody depth. The composition opens with the crispness of lavender and mint, followed by bergamot and artemisia to create an invigorating top note. This fresh start gradually gives way to cardamom and cinnamon, adding a spicy warmth that transitions into a heart of orange blossom and caraway. The base notes of vanilla, cedar, sandalwood, amber, and tonka bean provide a rich and enveloping finish.
Le Male Couple has a strong presence on skin, so one to two sprays are sufficient. The aromatic top notes fade within an hour but allow the woody base notes to shine through the rest of the day. This fragrance works best during cooler weather when its warmth can be fully appreciated.
