The story behind the bottle.
Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male Elixir Collector Edition, launched in 2025 and crafted by perfumer Quentin Bisch, weaves a complex blend of aromatic notes that evoke both warmth and sophistication. The fragrance opens with the freshness of lavender and mint before settling into a heart of honey and vanilla, creating an enveloping sweetness that is balanced by benzoin and tonka bean. The tobacco note adds a subtle depth, grounding the composition in earthy richness while the amber provides a lingering warmth.
Apply this fragrance in light spritzes — it blooms beautifully within an hour. The base notes take a while to fully emerge, so avoid layering multiple times; one or two applications are enough for all-day warmth.
