Launched in 2012 and created by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin, Blackberry & Bay by Jo Malone London has consistently ranked among the brand's top five global bestsellers. This fragrance is often credited with helping redefine the 'fruity fragrance' category by taking a sharp, botanical/green turn away from typical sugary sweetness. The composition opens with the tart freshness of blackberries and bay leaves, creating an unexpected contrast that feels both familiar and new. As it develops, notes of camphor and aromatic woods add depth, while subtle floral undertones keep the scent from feeling too austere.
Apply Blackberry & Bay in light layers — it projects well and builds on skin over time. The camphor note is particularly noticeable initially but fades into an elegant woody base after about 30 minutes. Ideal for daytime wear, as its freshness complements the morning to early evening hours.
