Launched in 2017 and crafted by perfumer Yann Vasnier, Leather & Artemisia by Jo Malone London is a striking blend of green and aromatic notes. The fragrance opens with the sharp, anise-tinged facets of absinthe and artemisia, creating a crisp and invigorating contrast to the deep richness of leather enhanced by amber woody notes of Cypriol. This composition marries the earthy sophistication of leather with the fresh greenery of artemisia, resulting in a scent that is both modern and lasting.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced effect. The aromatic top notes are bright and assertive, but they quickly give way to the deeper leather and woody base notes that provide warmth and longevity throughout the day.
