Serge Majoullier created Orange Bitters for Jo Malone London, launching it in 2016. This fragrance opens with a bright citrus accord that feels crisp and refreshing, like biting into a freshly peeled orange. As the scent evolves, woody and amber notes add warmth and depth, creating a contrast between the initial freshness and the enveloping base. The powdery undertones further soften this composition, making it both invigorating and comforting.
Start with one spray on each wrist and let it blend for a minute. The citrus top notes are bright but fade quickly, so reapply after an hour to maintain that initial freshness while allowing the woody base to shine.
