The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Juliette Has A Gun, Into The Void is a fragrance that embodies the dark charm of scientific mystery and cosmic intrigue. Perfumer Romano Ricci crafted this Oriental Woody scent with intense chords of licorice in the top notes, which give way to an intricate heart of orchid and tonka bean. The base notes blend guaiac wood, papyrus, patchouli, and cedar with molecules like ambroxan and norlimbanol, creating a woody-oriental character that feels both familiar and otherworldly. Described as 'the perfume with dark energy,' Into The Void captures the gravitational forces of black holes, where space, time, and light disappear into an unknown world.
Apply this fragrance sparingly; the licorice top note fades quickly, but the base notes settle into skin over time. Best for evenings or cooler weather, as it reads better close to the body than across a room.
