Launched in 1998 by L'Artisan Parfumeur, Navegar is an Oriental Spicy fragrance created by perfumer Olivia Giacobetti. The composition opens with a fresh spicy and citrus accord that introduces a vibrant yet nuanced character. This bright beginning gives way to a heart of anis and soft spices, which adds warmth without overpowering the freshness. The base notes of smoky, powdery, and warm spices create a complex backdrop that makes Navegar feel like both a journey through various climates and a comforting embrace.
Navegar's smoky base notes take time to develop fully on the skin, so a light application in the morning allows for a richer experience as the day progresses. It pairs well with layered fragrances but works best when allowed to stand alone.
