The story behind the bottle.
Melancolia by Les Liquides Imaginaires was launched in 2014 and created by perfumers Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel. This woody spicy fragrance opens with a fresh, invigorating burst of mint and bergamot, which cuts through the air like a cool breeze on a crisp morning. As it evolves, laurels and ginger add an aromatic depth that is both warm and slightly earthy, while musk and woody notes provide a grounding base. The composition is a study in contrast, balancing freshness with warmth, making it a captivating unisex scent.
Melancolia has a quick-evolving profile, so applying it in light layers allows you to experience its full range from fresh top notes to the warm woody base. It's best worn close to skin for an intimate yet noticeable presence throughout the day.
