Launched in 2025, Bittersweet Oud by Loewe is an Oriental Woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Nuria Cruelles. The composition begins with a fresh citrus note that cuts through the earthy and woody base of oud, creating a tension between brightness and depth. This contrast is further enhanced by warm spices and powdery undertones, which add layers of complexity without overpowering the overall balance.
Apply Bittersweet Oud to pulse points for a balanced experience. The citrus top note is bright but fleeting, so it's best to let the woody base notes develop over time. This fragrance reads better close to skin rather than across a room.

Núria Cruelles Borrull, born in 1983 in Spain, studied chemistry before joining IFF, then joined LOEWE in 2018, where she creates all of the house's fragrances in collaboration with creative director Jonathan Anderson.
