The story behind the bottle.
Heures d'Absence by Louis Vuitton was launched in 2020 and crafted by the renowned perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. This floral woody musk fragrance is a composition of white florals, sweet notes, and powdery accords, creating an enveloping warmth that feels both intimate and lasting. The scent opens with Jasmine Sambac and May Rose, offering a delicate yet rich bouquet that transitions smoothly into the heart of Mimosa and Pitosporum. The base notes of musk, vanilla, and sandalwood provide a soft, lingering comfort.
One or two sprays is sufficient — the fragrance blooms gradually on the skin over an hour. It's best worn in cooler environments as the powdery notes can feel heavy in warmer settings.
