Nouveau Monde by Louis Vuitton, launched in 2018 and crafted by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, is an Oriental fragrance that captures the essence of discovery and adventure. The composition opens with a warm spicy accord, leading into rich cacao and caramel notes before settling on a base of oud, leather, rose, vanilla, and amber. This fragrance embodies both the ruggedness of exploration and the luxurious comfort of home, creating a compelling narrative of new worlds and familiar pleasures.
One to two sprays are sufficient; this fragrance blooms gradually over time. The spicy opening notes fade within an hour but the rich base of oud and amber continues to evolve throughout the day.
