Launched in 2013 and crafted by Jean-Claude Astier, Collection Rouge No2 by M. Micallef is a rich Oriental Floral fragrance that weaves together floral elegance with smoky leather undertones. The composition opens with the vibrant burst of black currant and nutmeg, creating an unexpected contrast against the soft florals like orchid, violet, and jasmine. This interplay of bright fruits and delicate flowers gives way to a heart marked by castoreum and vanilla, adding depth and warmth. As it settles into its base notes of amber and labdanum, Collection Rouge No2 transforms into a warm embrace that feels both intimate and sophisticated.
