The story behind the bottle.
Gourmet by M. Micallef, launched in 2017 and crafted by Jean-Claude Astier and Geoffrey Nejman, is an Oriental Spicy fragrance that weaves together a rich blend of warm spices, smoky incense, and creamy vanilla. The composition opens with the sharp contrast of raspberry and chestnut, adding a touch of sweetness and earthiness. As it develops, leather and oud provide a deep, almost sensual undertone, while labdanum adds an enveloping balsamic warmth.
Apply this fragrance in light layers, as it builds up beautifully on the skin. The smoky and spicy notes can be quite intense initially, but they settle into a warm, inviting presence after about an hour.
