Jean-Claude Astier crafted Pomelos by M. Micallef in 2002 as a refreshing and vibrant citrus fragrance for women. The composition opens with the crisp zest of pomelo, which quickly melds into a heart of white florals, creating a delicate balance between freshness and sweetness. The base notes of musk and green accords add depth without overpowering the bright top layer, resulting in a scent that feels both modern and lasting.
Pomelos works best when applied to pulse points for a light, refreshing scent that lasts throughout the day. The top notes are bright but fade quickly, so reapply after an hour or two if you want to maintain its freshness. It's perfect for daytime wear and reads well close to skin rather than in a room.
