The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 and crafted by Pierre Montale for Mancera, Wild Python is a chypre floral that balances vibrant fruity and citrus notes with the rich warmth of tuberose and musk. The composition opens with Indian tuberose and bergamot, creating an initial burst of brightness before settling into a heart of osmanthus and jasmine. The base layers in patchouli leaf, white musk, and vanilla pod, grounding the fragrance with earthy warmth and animalic depth. This duality creates a captivating contrast that feels both fresh and sultry.
Apply Wild Python with a light hand — the initial fruity and citrus notes fade quickly, but the rich base notes will linger for hours. It pairs well with layering under a jacket or coat to keep it close to your skin.
