The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019, Bleu Satin by MDCI Parfums is a fragrance that captures the essence of modernity and elegance. Perfumer Cécile Zarokian crafted this composition to evoke the freshness of citrus and green accords, balanced against woody warmth and subtle leather notes. Bergamot and lemon open with a bright burst of energy, while watermelon and cassis add a touch of playful fruitiness that cuts through the sweetness. The heart of jasmine and saffron offers a delicate floral warmth before settling into a base of woody and leather notes that read as understated sophistication.
Two sprays will do — the bright citrus and green top notes are immediate but short-lived. The woody and leather base takes about an hour to fully bloom, so it's best to apply in advance if you want the full effect. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room.
