Launched in 2009 by MDCI Parfums and crafted by Patricia de Nicolai, Un Coeur en Mai is a Floral Green fragrance that captures the essence of spring. The composition opens with galbanum and melon, creating an aromatic and green freshness that transitions seamlessly into rose and mimosa, providing a floral warmth. This is balanced by black currant and petitgrain, adding a subtle spiciness and citrusy brightness to the mix. The base notes of musk and coriander ground the fragrance with powdery and earthy undertones.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the essence of Un Coeur en Mai. The fragrance opens with a bright freshness that fades into floral warmth within an hour. Best suited for daytime wear, it provides a comforting blend without overpowering other scents.
