Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016, Fêtes Persanes by MDCI Parfums is an Oriental Spicy fragrance created by Cécile Zarokian. The composition opens with a burst of fresh and warm spices like black pepper, bergamot, cloves, and cardamom, creating a vibrant contrast that immediately captures the attention. As it settles, cinnamon and rose add depth, giving way to a base of vanilla, guaiac wood, patchouli, and cedar. This fragrance is neither overbearing nor too subtle; instead, it strikes a perfect balance between spicy freshness and woody warmth.
One to two sprays are enough — the spicy top notes are bright but quickly blend into the warm base. It's particularly effective in the evening when the woody and vanilla notes have a chance to fully envelop you.
