Sicilian Leather, launched by Memo Paris in 2021 and crafted by perfumer Yann Vasnier, is an intriguing blend of freshness and warmth. The composition opens with a bright citrus-aromatic accord, featuring lemon, bergamot, and lime, which contrasts sharply with the rich, leathery base notes. This duality creates a complex interplay between the crispness of Sicilian fruits and the deep, earthy tones of leather and woods like cedar and akigalawood. The addition of spicy elements like coriander and cardamom adds a subtle heat that warms the overall composition without overpowering it.
Apply this fragrance with two sprays to capture both its bright opening notes and warm base. The citrus top notes are fleeting but crucial, so a heavier first pass ensures they're present from the start.
