The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Michael Kors, Extreme Speed is a woody-spicy fragrance crafted by perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie. This composition opens with the sharp freshness of cypress and cardamom, creating an immediate sense of invigoration. The heart brings a soft floral touch through violet, while sage and coriander add herbal warmth. As it settles, cedar and patchouli lend a rich, earthy base that is grounded by tolu balsam’s resinous sweetness. Extreme Speed is designed for the man who moves with purpose, where every note is a reflection of his dynamic energy.
Apply two sprays to the pulse points in the morning for optimal longevity. The herbal top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so let it build on your skin over an hour before stepping out. This fragrance reads better close to the skin rather than across a room, making it perfect for daytime or casual evening wear.
