The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Miller Harris, La Fumée Alexandrie is crafted by Lyn Harris and Mathieu Nardin. This fragrance opens with a bright burst of Italian mandarin and litchi, creating an unexpected freshness that contrasts sharply against the smoky heart notes of Turkish rose, incense, and agarwood (oud). The base layers in birch, sandalwood, and amber to create a warm, leathery depth. This composition feels like an exploration of contradiction — crisp and spicy at first, then rich and enveloping.
Apply La Fumée Alexandrie sparingly — its smoky heart notes emerge after about an hour and continue to deepen throughout the day. It's best for evening wear when the warmth of the base notes can fully envelop you.
