The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Pierre Montale, Aoud Lavender is a composition that balances the fresh aromatic quality of lavender with the warm, woody depth of oud. The fragrance opens with bright notes of bergamot and lemon, giving way to a heart of saffron and flowers before settling into a base of patchouli, sandalwood, white musk, and amber. This blend creates an intriguing tension between crisp freshness and enveloping warmth, making it both invigorating and comforting.
Apply Aoud Lavender with a light hand; the citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, while the oud and powdery base notes develop more slowly. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to skin rather than across a room, where its warmth and depth can be fully appreciated.
