Launched in 2010 by Montale and crafted by Pierre Montale, Black Musk is a complex Oriental Spicy fragrance that balances fresh spiciness with warm animalic notes. The composition opens with a burst of fresh spice and woody accords before settling into a rich musky base layered with hints of leather and patchouli. This scent is neither overtly sweet nor overly sharp; instead, it offers a nuanced blend that feels both intimate and expansive.
Apply Black Musk lightly at first; the initial spiciness fades quickly, revealing the deeper musk and leather notes. It pairs especially well with cool weather, as the warmth of its base notes is more pronounced in cooler temperatures.
