The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2008 by Montale and crafted by Pierre Montale, Crystal Aoud is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that blends unexpected freshness with rich, warm notes. The composition opens with the crisp zest of melon, green apple, and mandarin orange, creating an immediate sense of vitality. This citrusy brightness contrasts beautifully with the heart of agarwood (oud), teak wood, patchouli, and sandalwood — accords that bring a deep, earthy warmth. The base notes of saffron, vanilla, and white musk add a touch of sweetness and sensuality to the overall profile.
Crystal Aoud has a strong presence but remains close to skin. Apply it lightly in the morning for daytime freshness; as evening approaches, you can layer it with a light mist for added depth. The ozonic notes will fade within an hour, making the woody base more prominent throughout the day.
