Dark Vanilla by Montale, launched in 2020 and crafted by Pierre Montale, is an oriental vanilla fragrance that marries rich, warm spices with the deep complexity of Cambodian oud and leather. The top notes of spices give way to a heart of leather, sandalwood, and patchouli, creating a smoky, earthy contrast against the sweetness of vanilla in the base. This composition is neither purely sweet nor overly woody but strikes a harmonious balance between the two extremes.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for the best effect. The spicy top notes can be intense initially but give way to a deeper, richer base that blooms over time, making it ideal for evening wear or cooler evenings.
