The story behind the bottle.
Sweet Peony by Montale, launched in 2017 and crafted by Pierre Montale, is an intricate Floral Fruity fragrance that intertwines the delicate scent of peony with a rich bouquet of rose, jasmine, and peach. The top note of peony sets a fresh and inviting tone, while the heart notes of rose and jasmine add depth and warmth. Coconut adds a subtle sweetness, rounding out the composition before it settles into a base of vanilla, sandalwood, coffee, and cloves. This fragrance is a harmonious blend that balances floral elegance with warm spice and sweet woody undertones.
Sweet Peony's top notes are bright but fleeting, so apply two sprays to ensure that the heart and base notes have time to develop. The vanilla and sandalwood base notes bloom gradually over an hour, making it ideal for a cozy evening at home or a soft, romantic date.
