The story behind the bottle.
Bertrand Duchaufour's Verve Matin, launched by Navitus Parfums in 2020, is a vibrant aromatic-green fragrance for both women and men. It opens with a burst of citrus notes — Sicilian lemon, orange, bergamot, and grapefruit — that create an invigorating freshness. As the scent develops, warm spices like cardamom, clary sage, juniper berries, bay leaf, and saffron add complexity and depth. The base notes of ambergris, myrrh, musk, cinnamon, and driftwood provide a grounding warmth, making Verve Matin an engaging blend that transitions seamlessly from day to night.
Apply Verve Matin directly to pulse points for a lingering effect. The citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, while the spicy and woody base notes continue to evolve throughout the day. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear when its fresh and vibrant character can shine.
