Launched in 2021 by Nishane, Shem is an Oriental Floral fragrance crafted by perfumer Lucas Sieuzac. This composition opens with the freshness of cardamom and geranium before diving into a heart of Turkish rose and osmanthus, creating a vibrant floral bouquet that contrasts beautifully against earthy accords like cypriol oil and vetiver. The base notes of leather, amber, and elemi add depth and warmth, grounding the fragrance in an intriguing blend of spiciness and animalic undertones.
Apply Shem to pulse points for an intimate experience — it’s designed to read better close to skin rather than across a room. The cardamom and geranium in the top notes are bright but fleeting, so the vetiver and leather base will carry you through the day.
