The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011, Still Life by Olfactive Studio is a creation of perfumer Dora Baghriche. This fragrance opens with the bright zest of yuzu and elemi, punctuated by the sharpness of pink pepper and black pepper. The heart transitions into a complex interplay of green galbanum and sweet star anise, while the base settles into rich rum, Virginia cedar, and amber, creating a warm and inviting cocoon.
Start with one generous spray — the yuzu and elemi open brightly but fade within an hour. The base notes take time to develop fully, so allow at least 30 minutes before reapplying if you want to emphasize the warm cedar and amber.
