Launched in 2022, L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Summer Edition by Kevin Lucbert is a fragrance that captures the essence of a refreshing summer day. Created by perfumers Daphné Bugey, Dora Baghriche, and Marie Salamagne, this composition opens with watery notes and lemon, providing an immediate burst of freshness. The heart features eucalyptus and basil, adding a green, aromatic twist, while the base of cypress, pine, balsam fir, and cedar creates a woody backdrop that feels both grounding and invigorating.
One spray to each pulse point is sufficient — the watery top notes are bright but fleeting. The composition leans heavily on its woody base, which takes about an hour to fully settle in. It’s best worn during cooler summer evenings when the air has a hint of freshness.
