The story behind the bottle.
L'Homme Eau d'Ete by Yves Saint Laurent was launched in 2008 as part of the house's commitment to capturing the essence of contemporary masculinity. This Woody Aromatic fragrance opens with a bright and invigorating blend of bergamot, ginger, and basil that cuts through with fresh spiciness. As it settles into its heart notes, violet and white pepper add an unexpected depth, while tonka bean and tahitian vetiver create a warm, earthy base. Cedar and musk round out the composition, grounding the scent in a powdery, woody warmth.
Apply one to two sprays liberally on pulse points. The fresh and spicy top notes are bright but fade within an hour, so it’s best to layer this fragrance throughout the day for continuous freshness. It reads better close to skin than from afar.
