Launched in 2018, L’Homme Cologne Bleue by Yves Saint Laurent is a modern aquatic cologne crafted by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou. This fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of citrus and sea notes, blending the freshness of grapefruit and mandarin orange with the mineral clarity of marine accords. The heart introduces warm spices like cardamom and black pepper alongside lavender and thyme, creating an engaging contrast between sharpness and softness. The base settles into woody depths with patchouli, cedar, and sandalwood, grounding the composition in a subtle warmth.
