Ambre Royal by Ormonde Jayne was launched in 2016, crafted by the renowned perfumer Geza Schoen. This Oriental fragrance is an intricate blend of amber and musk, with subtle floral and powdery notes that add depth to its woody base. The composition opens with a bright fruity accord that cuts through the richness of iris and soft spices, creating a tension between freshness and warmth. This contrast makes Ambre Royal both approachable and complex.
One or two sprays are enough to let the powdery woods settle into your skin. The fruity top notes fade within an hour, but the base holds up throughout the day. This fragrance reads best close to the skin rather than from across a room.
