True Love by Ormonde Jayne, launched in 2017 and crafted by Geza Schoen, is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that encapsulates the essence of refined elegance. The composition opens with vibrant citrus notes from bergamot and mandarin orange, creating an initial freshness that contrasts beautifully with the heart’s rich florals like freesia, ylang-ylang, jasmine, and rose. The base notes of honey, sandalwood, musk, and cashmere wood provide a warm, powdery finish that feels intimate and comforting.
One or two sprays is enough to capture the essence of True Love. The citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so it’s best applied shortly before you need the full warmth of its base notes to come through. This fragrance reads better close to skin than in a room.
