The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011, Prada Candy by Daniela Andrier is an oriental vanilla fragrance that quickly became iconic. The composition opens with caramel and powdery notes before settling into a warm base of musk, benzoin, and vanilla. This sweet and modern scent has been praised for its comforting warmth and sensual balsamic vanillic accord. In 2021, Prada relaunched the fragrance's campaign fronted by a fully virtual muse, marking one of the first digital-influencer campaigns aimed at Gen Z on platforms like TikTok and Twitch.
One or two sprays are enough to capture its sweet and enveloping essence. The caramel top note is bright but fleeting, so the focus should be on the heart and base notes that provide a lasting warmth. It's best worn in cooler weather when you want a comforting embrace.
