Fame by Rabanne, launched in 2022 and crafted by Alberto Morillas, Dora Baghriche, Fabrice Pellegrin, and Marie Salamagne, is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that captures the essence of tropical charm. The composition opens with mango and bergamot, creating an immediate sense of warmth and vibrancy. This bright, fruity top note gives way to jasmine and olibanum, adding depth and complexity. The base notes of vanilla and sandalwood bring a comforting, powdery finish that lingers long after the initial burst of tropical fruit has faded.
For best effect, apply Fame to pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears. The fruity top notes are bright but fleeting, so reapply after an hour for continuous warmth. This fragrance reads better close to skin than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings.
