The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 1998 by Rabanne and crafted by perfumer Rosendo Mateu, Paco Energy is a unisex fragrance that balances citrus freshness with musky warmth. The composition opens with mandarin orange and lemon, bright and crisp, before transitioning to an aldehydic heart that adds a modern edge. Lavender and jasmine weave through the white floral notes, creating a soft contrast against the musk and woody base of cedar and amber. Paco Energy is as much about its dynamic tension — the interplay between freshness and depth — as it is about any single note.

How to wear it

For best effect, apply Paco Energy to pulse points and let it develop for about 15 minutes before you leave. The citrus top notes are most impactful initially but give way to a more complex musky warmth as the day progresses.
