The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2003 by Rabanne, Ultraviolet Liquid Crystal Woman is a fragrance that marries the crispness of citrus and green notes with the depth of floral and aromatic accords. The opening melon and lemon create an immediate freshness, while violet leaf adds a subtle earthiness. As it settles, osmanthus and jasmine bring soft florals to the forefront, supported by mint and vetiver, which lend both coolness and warmth. This composition is designed to feel like a modern interpretation of classic elegance.
Given its fresh top notes, a single spray is sufficient to let the fragrance evolve naturally. The citrus and green notes fade within an hour, but the floral heart ensures it remains noticeable throughout the day. Best suited for daytime wear, where it can complement professional settings without overpowering them.
