Launched in 2013 by Ralph Lauren and crafted by perfumer Olivier Gillotin, Polo Red is a Woody Spicy fragrance that balances bright citrus and fruity notes with warm spices and rich woody accords. The composition opens with cranberry, grapefruit, and Italian lemon, creating an invigorating freshness that immediately captures attention. As it evolves, saffron and sage add depth to the aromatic profile, while amber and coffee offer a comforting warmth. This dynamic interplay of fresh and warm notes makes Polo Red a versatile scent for any occasion.
Polo Red is best applied in moderation; one to two sprays are sufficient as the fresh top notes can be quite vibrant.
