Launched in 2011 by Robert Piguet and crafted by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, Douglas Hannant is a floral fragrance that balances the sweetness of white florals with subtle animalic undertones. The composition opens with gardenia and pear, creating a fresh yet warm effect. This gives way to a heart of tuberose and jasmine, which exudes an elegant and slightly intoxicating aroma. The base notes of musk and sandalwood provide depth and warmth, grounding the fragrance in a sensual yet refined character.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points — the fragrance opens quickly with gardenia and pear but allows the tuberose and jasmine heart to develop over time. The base notes take about an hour to fully bloom, so a light application in the morning will carry you through the day.
