Pierre de Velay Extrait No. 11, launched in 2013 by Roja Dove, is a chypre fragrance that balances the earthy richness of woody and spicy notes with the delicate complexity of rose and iris. The composition opens with pink pepper and citruses, creating a fresh yet slightly spicy top note before transitioning into the heart where jasmine and rose intertwine with orris root for an opulent floral bouquet. The base layer is grounded by cedar, patchouli, oakmoss, and musk, providing warmth and depth that linger on the skin.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points — this fragrance blooms gradually over time. The citruses and pink pepper are bright but fleeting, so the rich base notes will dominate after an hour. Best for cooler evenings when you want a scent that evolves close to skin.
